There is common belief around Udaipur that women’s role should be in home making and therefore there is a social pressure on them to not work in the industries.

In this unit of Secure Meters, special focus has been given on women empowerment. Efforts are being made to establish a complete female workforce. Most of the areas around Udaipur is tribal and by providing trainings to the women from such areas, Secure has converted them into skilled workers. This has enabled them to become self-dependent.

Today in Secure, there are women working in almost all levels. They are operating automatic machines at shop floor. They are working in almost all areas like hand soldering, assembling, packing, repairing machines, research, management etc.

The minimum qualification to work in Secure is matric pass and women are encouraged to improve their educational level while doing their job. To fulfil this task their shifts are in such a way that they can get time to study.

Women security is the top most priority at Secure and they get the most secure environment to work. Today the percentage of female in total workers has gone up to 52%.
