Sandand site gains green building award

We are proud to be awarded the highest platinum rating by the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) for our facility in Sanand, Gujarat.

Being a sustainable business that endures for generations is one of our core beliefs. The building sector in India is thriving and contributing immensely towards our country’s economic growth. That said, there is an immediate need to introduce green concepts and techniques in this sector, which can sustainably aid growth.

The green concepts and techniques in the building sector can help address national issues like water efficiency, energy efficiency, reduction in fossil fuel use in commuting, handling of consumer waste, and conserving natural resources. Most importantly, these concepts can enhance occupant health, happiness and well-being.

All these thoughts instigated the idea of developing an energy- efficient infrastructure at our new plant in Sanand, Gujarat.

Sanand is a small town in the Ahmedabad district of Gujarat. It is best known as the automobile hub of Gujarat. We started construction in December 2016 and inaugurated the Sanand plant in January 2018.
