In 2009, we identified tribal women near our factory as a potentially strong workforce. We offered extensive training to develop their skills, and today women make up over 60 percent of our factory workforce.
Our approach to CSR is duly documented. Its delivery is integrated with the core business of the company and is monitored by the CSR committee.
Dharohar is involved in developing and managing our many community-focused initiatives. It helps us bring local schools and thought leaders in education together, lead a reforestation programme and digitalise a million Sanskrit texts.
