DPT is an analogue / digital transducer with multiple programmable I/O:s, which can replace several devices. The transducer can handle extreme disturbance levels without sacrificing performance (Class 0.2). The product has received full marks from both Vattenfall and the Swedish National Grid.
We are obviously very pleased with the positive feedback the market has given the product. It proves we made the right choice, when focusing on flexibility and high performance. The DPT will be followed by a number of other products, as we see an increasing demand for programmable devices in the coming years, says Bo Malmqvist, CEO of Cewe Instrument.
Facts: The DPT meets IEC 60 688 standard and can be delivered in Class 0.5 or Class 0.2. The transducer measures the electrocution as current, voltage, active, reactive and apparent power, frequency and power factor. The unit is designed for DIN rail mounting. The DPT converts the signal into a proportional DC current or DC voltage of up to four analogue outputs. The unit also has two digital pulse outputs and an RS485 Modbus output. The DPT converts the programmable signal to a proportional and load-independent DC current / voltage out signal.
