Secure is proud to announce that it is now an official signatory of the BEAMA 2050 Connected Climate Commitment, a significant step forward in its journey toward sustainable and responsible business practices.
This commitment brings together organisations across the UK’s energy, transport, and built environment sectors to drive alignment, accountability, and measurable progress toward net zero. Developed by BEAMA under its BEAMA 2050 Connected platform, it is endorsed by Carbon and Energy Fund and Scottish & Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN), amongst others, to reflect a growing collective effort to accelerate climate action through collaboration.
By signing this commitment, Secure has pledged to take meaningful steps across its operations and value chain. These include reducing Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, embedding sustainability into corporate governance, and setting science-based targets to guide long-term impact. Secure will also integrate circular economy principles into its processes, engage in responsible policy and regulatory development, and actively collaborate within the BEAMA 2050 Connected ecosystem.
“Secure Group was founded on designing and bringing to market world-leading energy measurement products and services. We proudly support BEAMA’s Climate Change Commitment and encourage all businesses to adopt science-based targets to reduce emissions,” shared #Semsite Kaushak Patel, Group Director and BEAMA Board Member and also the official signatory to the commitment on behalf of Secure.
This milestone reinforces Secure’s commitment to sustainability, not just as a responsibility, but as a core part of how it innovates, operates, and contributes to a more sustainable future.
