Steve is an experienced consultant and strategic advisor specialising in energy and utilities. He holds senior advisory and non-executive director roles with several companies operating in the sector. He led PwC’s energy and utilities practice in the UK for over a decade.

While Steve’s recent experience has been focused on the UK, he has also worked on projects in the USA, Western Europe, and Asia. He has lived and worked in Central Europe and Africa.

Steve is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He trained in the audit profession and has also worked in industry as a Financial Planning Manager and Financial Controller.

He has spent much of his career working at board level on growth strategies and leading strategic change programmes—often in response to market and regulatory developments, with recent emphasis on the challenges and opportunities of the energy transition and net zero emissions targets.
