Compared to large scale industries, the vulnerability of MSMEs to increasing energy prices is very high, and they end up paying a huge amount in terms of per-unit cost of energy.
The country today is facing the unenviable dilemma of trying to provide cheap electricity to all industrial and commercial enterprises, while trying to ensure that the deep-rooted problems of the distribution sector are resolved.
