Beanbag Care achieves important industry milestone
Secure UK Ltd has been awarded Quality Standards Framework accreditation by TEC Quality, a subsidiary of the TEC Service Association (TSA).
Widely regarded as the UK’s voice of Technology Enabled Care (TEC), the TSA is the industry advisory body for the care technology sector. The Quality Standards Framework benchmark represents a significant milestone for Secure, and is the company’s first major care industry certification since the launch of Beanbag Care in 2020.
Secure will be recognised as having achieved successful Quality Standards Framework certification to the Quality Standards Framework at a drinks reception, prior to the TSA Gala Dinner at this year’s ITEC conference on the evening of the 28th March, at the ICC Birmingham.
Secure was assessed over 10 standard modules that included safety, risk analysis, and staff competency, plus three additional assessment modules specifically tailored for remote monitoring technology.
Paul Botsford, Head of Assisted Living Technology & Services at Secure UK Ltd said: “TEC Quality Accreditation is an important milestone for Secure UK Ltd and Beanbag Care. Secure has a global track record supplying user-centric systems, but the QSF accreditation demonstrates our innovative TEC services will meet UK care sector expectations.”
Paul concludes: “Achieving this accreditation is the culmination of six months of hard work and a collaborative effort from across the Beanbag Care team, so I’m delighted for everyone involved.”
Helen Rudkin, Quality Manager for TEC Quality at TSA said: “Secure UK Ltd is a great example of an established business that has entered the TEC sector, and has immediately set about adopting embedding quality, safety and assurance into its product and service offers.
“We’re pleased to say that it’s values such as these that have contributed to Secure receiving TEC Quality certification.”
