Application

  • The Pipit in-home display is quick and easy to set up, so you can start saving straightaway. It connects (pairs) wirelessly to your Smart Meter using a Home Area Network (HAN) which is built into both the Smart Meter and your IHD. This ensures that the IHD receives information only from your Smart Meter, so it is always up to date with your meter data. The set up process is like pairing a mobile phone with a hands-free device, and requires no transmitter or additional hardware. Once paired, the Smart Meter sends consumption data to the Pipit every 30 seconds. Pipit builds up a history of your consumption and cost data, enabling you to keep track of your energy savings.
